Breaking a spell and turning a beast to a prince...
Being kissed by a handsome prince after 100 years...
And leaving a golden shoes to the palace's stairs...
After all these things, now I am back.Writing to all of you all of my thoughts.
Now that I am on my third year, there are more stepmothers to face and witches to kill.
All of these, I can accomplish if I have my mind, my heart and my soul.

"Hakuna Matata"

“Hakuna Matata”, this is my motto. Is there any motto as Hakuna Matata? Yes there is and Timon and Pumba made these motto. By the way, are you confused why Hakuna Matata is a motto?

This song, Hakuna Matata, was song by Timon and Pumba in the popular movie, The Lion King Part 1. They sung this when Simba (I think you know him), was very sad at that time because of his father’s death, which he blame himself. They sung this to make Simba happy. And believe it or not, it worked!!!

Hakuna Matata means no worries. I choose this as my motto because I am a person doing anything to fight away problems and sorrows in my heart. Everyday, when we have so many, many projects and tests to do, I just remember this phrase and like a gun, half of my problem passed away. You may see me, sad sometimes but you always see me smiling and laughing and like no other problems. It is because of this phrase. Whenever the day is loaded with problems, my smile is always ready for everyone. It is because of this phrase.

One day, a friend of mine became very, very sad. We don’t even know why and what is the cause of his sadness. Every person that advice her cannot make her happy and cannot even let her tell what is the cause of her problem. Each day, every person came and make her some advises but not one of them made her even smile. I was very, very afraid at that time when I was going to advise her. I thought that maybe she will not be happy with what will I say, but I really tried. I then came to her and said, “Hakuna Matata”. I did not know that she know what that means and she began laughing and laughing. All my classmates were shocked when they saw her laugh like that. Then she thanked me for what I have done to her and for making her happy. Then after that we began singing the “Hakuna Matata”.

Everybody had a motto and everybody is referring her motto to her basic life. And for me, it was been said that I am a little girl that always had a smile and a laugh for everyone. Every time people had problems, I carried away with her emotion because I was touched but saying “Hakuna Matata” to me is a very good work to do. And for you, I mean the one reading this; just don’t forget to say the word Hakuna Matata whenever you had problems. And we will never know that problem will soon go away.

Disney Princess

Children here and there have some collectibles of the different “Disney Princess” in our generation. At this time, we all have 8 lovely Disney Princess. On the list are Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora, Ariel, Belle, Jasmine and the 2 other beautiful princesses Mulan and Pocahontas. Despite each being from different films, all the Princesses have distinct similarities. All of them are leads in their respective movies (with the exception of Princess Jasmine), all have the ability to communicate with animals (displaying a sign of goodness towards all creatures), all have beautiful singing voices, and all have a love interest that is resolved at the end of their movies. The first three (Snow White, Cinderella, and Aurora) are victims of misfortune until their happy endings; the others (whose movies were created in the late 20th century) have strong personas and seek adventure in the unknown world. Unsurprisingly, all of the Princesses are known for their beauty in both their movies and the real world.
Snow White is about a girl who had a wicked stepmother that wants to be the fairiest of all. She planned to kill Snow White but the hunter cannot do it so he let Snow White escape to the dangerous forest. Snow White befriended the seven dwarfs and let her stay in their cute little house. But one day, her wicked stepmom find out all about and planned in killing Snow White by poisoning an apple ang giving it to her. Unfortunately, Snow White ate the apple and died. But through the kiss of her Prince Charming, she lived and live with her prince happily ever after. This is a film about fantasy, love and also comedy.
Cinderella is a beautiful little orphan that lived with her wicked stepmother and 2 wicked stepsisters. When an invitation came inviting all ladies to go to a ball, Cinderella wanted to go but her dress was torn by her wicked stepmother and stepsisters. But through the help of her fairy godmother and then went to the ball. But at 12 am, she must be in her house. In this film, A wish is a dream you come true, was popularized. This is also a film about love and comedy.
Aurora or also known as the Sleeping Beauty is about a girl being cursed that when she reached 16 years old she will sleep in over 100 years and only the true love can kiss her to live. This movie is about sacrifice, love and fantasy.
Next is Ariel, the little mermaid. About a young mermaid who dreamed to be a human and surrender her voice to the sea witch just to become one. She was been a human when this film end and married her only love, Prince Eric.
Belle or simply known as Beauty in the Beuaty and the Beast is a young lass being offered by her father by his own safety to a hidgeous beast. But at the end of the film, the two learned to love each other and the beast became a true man. Beauty and the Beast is the famous sing in this film.
Jasmine is a princess that do not have the freedom in choosing who will be her husband. But when she found Alladin, she thought he could be the better husband for her. She fought different consequences to find Alladin. A whole new world, the no.1 in Disney’s songs, was popularized by this film.
Mulan, a cute young Chinese girl protecting her father by disguising herself as a soldier instead of her father. This is a film about love and peace. Reflection is one of the song in this film.
And lastly, Pocahontas, a young girl who doesn’t want colonization by the other countries. She open the mind of John Smith to do not colonize their country.
All of them possess a trait of beauty, power and kindness. All of them are kind and are not bossy. You could have that trait, too. You can become a Disney Princess.

Family Day '07

February 25, 2007 was the date of the Family Day 2006-2007. It was my second year to join this Family Day so I am used to the games and the activities in this day. First is the Best in Tent, the most beautiful tent that was decorated by our wonderful and active parents, the oldest and also the youngest participant (as what the title was saying), the early bird, the person who arrives the earliest of us all, there were also different games and the awaited part was the raffle draw.

The day before that which was Saturday, parents here and there went to the school campus to help in decorating the tent. And fortunately, my mom is one of the active members of the crowd. After all the decorating and the cleaning of the tent, we all went home to be ready for the big day the next day.

The big day came. First in the program was the Holy Mass because it was a Sunday at that time. Almost all of us attended the mass. Even if it rain when the mass was going on, it stopped when the mass was going to end. Thanks to God!!! After the mass, we were going to be ready for the presentations that we were going to have. And our presentation was the Japanese Parasol Dance. It was not as good as you think but at least we did our best in dancing the Japanese dance.

After the dance, we changed clothes and watched the game of our second year boys in soccer. It was a very good fight. But at the last part, their opponent won, which was the Freshies. After that we ate our ever yummy lunch.

After the ever so yummy lunch, our PE teacher, prepared some fun games for the whole UP community. There were sack race, the blindfold race and the bring me. All were very happy because of the funny games and all other stuff. After all the games was the awarding of the awards. The oldest and the youngest participant, the early bird and other awards were some of the awards given. But the most awaited part was the raffle draw. At first, my mom and I were not expecting any raffle ticket to be picked with our name on it. But when my mom was called, we were very, very happy. And fortunately she was not called only once but thrice. She went home two ice creams and a cash ticket of 100 pesos. We ate the ice cream in the school and one we brought to our house.

That was a very fun experience. That was my second family day and so the most emotional because Mme. Gallo said goodbye to some of the parents. And we also her students were very, very sad when we learn that she was going to retire next year. But that happen, that happens.

Every family member was very, very happy and gay. All of us!!! And we are hoping for the next family day to improve and to more happier.
