Children here and there have some collectibles of the different “Disney Princess” in our generation. At this time, we all have 8 lovely Disney Princess. On the list are Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora, Ariel, Belle, Jasmine and the 2 other beautiful princesses Mulan and Pocahontas. Despite each being from different films, all the Princesses have distinct similarities. All of them are leads in their respective movies (with the exception of Princess Jasmine), all have the ability to communicate with animals (displaying a sign of goodness towards all creatures), all have beautiful singing voices, and all have a love interest that is resolved at the end of their movies. The first three (Snow White, Cinderella, and Aurora) are victims of misfortune until their happy endings; the others (whose movies were created in the late 20th century) have strong personas and seek adventure in the unknown world. Unsurprisingly, all of the Princesses are known for their beauty in both their movies and the real world.
Snow White is about a girl who had a wicked stepmother that wants to be the fairiest of all. She planned to kill Snow White but the hunter cannot do it so he let Snow White escape to the dangerous forest. Snow White befriended the seven dwarfs and let her stay in their cute little house. But one day, her wicked stepmom find out all about and planned in killing Snow White by poisoning an apple ang giving it to her. Unfortunately, Snow White ate the apple and died. But through the kiss of her Prince Charming, she lived and live with her prince happily ever after. This is a film about fantasy, love and also comedy.
Cinderella is a beautiful little orphan that lived with her wicked stepmother and 2 wicked stepsisters. When an invitation came inviting all ladies to go to a ball, Cinderella wanted to go but her dress was torn by her wicked stepmother and stepsisters. But through the help of her fairy godmother and then went to the ball. But at 12 am, she must be in her house. In this film, A wish is a dream you come true, was popularized. This is also a film about love and comedy.
Aurora or also known as the Sleeping Beauty is about a girl being cursed that when she reached 16 years old she will sleep in over 100 years and only the true love can kiss her to live. This movie is about sacrifice, love and fantasy.
Next is Ariel, the little mermaid. About a young mermaid who dreamed to be a human and surrender her voice to the sea witch just to become one. She was been a human when this film end and married her only love, Prince Eric.
Belle or simply known as Beauty in the Beuaty and the Beast is a young lass being offered by her father by his own safety to a hidgeous beast. But at the end of the film, the two learned to love each other and the beast became a true man. Beauty and the Beast is the famous sing in this film.
Jasmine is a princess that do not have the freedom in choosing who will be her husband. But when she found Alladin, she thought he could be the better husband for her. She fought different consequences to find Alladin. A whole new world, the no.1 in Disney’s songs, was popularized by this film.
Mulan, a cute young Chinese girl protecting her father by disguising herself as a soldier instead of her father. This is a film about love and peace. Reflection is one of the song in this film.
And lastly, Pocahontas, a young girl who doesn’t want colonization by the other countries. She open the mind of John Smith to do not colonize their country.
All of them possess a trait of beauty, power and kindness. All of them are kind and are not bossy. You could have that trait, too. You can become a Disney Princess.
