Beware People

Have you experienced being snatched in Colon or being hold-up in Pardo? These are just few of the many cases of robbery, murder and other crimes here in Cebu and not only in Cebu but also in the whole Philippines. Some cases like rape, massacre and bomb threats are some. People are so worried nowadays because of maybe they will be hold-up or being snatched. And they also are worried by the robbery inside the house like the “Akyat-Bahay Gang”. People are now thinking how they can prevent from all of these crimes. As a young citizen, I had known how to be safe always.

Robberies (hold-up and snatched)

Watch out for people who are always following you. Maybe he/she is the robber.
Avoid going to dark places like a small street and also dark because these are the places where robbers stay often.
Avoid bringing much money because it may gonna lost or snatched.
Be ready with yourself always and practice some Karate techniques (just like me) for protection.
Avoid going to crowded places because some of your belongings may be snatched.

“Akyat-Bahay Gang” Robbery
Watched out for people that you don’t know and is always outside your house like watching and finding some information about your house.
Locked your house when you will gonna leave and when it is night. Lock also the windows that may the entrance of some robbers.
When you are out, play some sound on the radio or maybe you can the television so that robbers may think that there is someone inside. But be sure to be home always because the radio or television may not overheat and start some fire.
Do not leave some important papers, money and other important things in your house because you may not know that one of the maids or boys in your house maybe the robber. What do you think?

Bombing
Avoid going to crowded places because this maybe the place of bombing.
Avoid people who look like terrorists.

Rape Cases
Avoid going out with boys when there are no other girls with you.
Avoid people who look like drug addicts when you will go outside especially in the night.
Avoid alcoholic drinks that a guy offers to you because it may have some sleeping powder or others.
Avoid wearing small skirts or shorts that can attract the eyes of boys.

These are just some of the safety things that you can do for your own safety. But also it is in you when something bad may happen to you. Maybe you are not looking around the things that are dangerous. You should know how to protect yourself with the bad guys around you. Maybe you can do some taekwando lessons or other lessons for your own safety. But always pray to God that He will send His finest guardian Angel to protect you and comfort you. You should call HIM when you can feel that something is wrong and also to your Guardian Angel. But the most important be aware. Beware People.
