Die-hard people are always quarreling of which station is the best. Is it the ABS-CBN or the rival network GMA? Some will say ABS because the famous stars of today are there like Bea Alonzo and Claudine Baretto. But GMA’s fans will never lose hope. They still fight that GMA is still the number one because of the top-rating shows like Asian Treasures and Majika. They always quarrel and quarrel on that. Whenever I read the newspaper in the comments section, there I saw different comments and bad words about there rival station. And this post will tell about the different Kapamilya (ABS) and Kapuso (GMA) shows that we saw everyday.

Let us start with anime and cartoons that ABS and GMA station show. On the left corner is Naruto and on the right corner is One Piece. Naruto is about a ninja living in a village namely Konoha. It is a very nice anime that people old or young watched it. And there you go One Piece. It is about a very young man fighting for freedom and for justice. It is also a very nice anime that little children and including my classmates watched it. Other anime and cartoons are also very popular here and there in the Philippines. Base on the viewer’s choice, Naruto is the best anime in the Philippines. The score is 1-0….
Next on the list are the Talk Shows of the different stations. Once again on the left corner is The Buzz and on the right corner is Star Talk. The Buzz’s hosts are Boy Abunda, the controversial girl Kris Aquino and the ever beautiful Christy Fermin. While the Star Talk’s Hosts are Joey Marquez, Richard Gomez, Pia Guanio and John Lapus which is currently airing there show the same time with the other station. Base on the people’s survey The Buzz is still number one. Another point is added for Abs-Cbn.
Teleseryes are next. In Abs-Cbn, the most popular teleserye is “Maging Sino Ka Man” and on the other side is Asian Treasures. Maging Sino Ka Man is about four people who are like puppets that someone is controlling. It is a very cute teleserye. And on the other station is Asian Treasures. It is about a young girl searching for a treasure that was left by her ancestors. But there are very rivals in looking for the treasure. According to the survey, Asian Treasures is the number one on these teleseryes. A point is added to GMA.
Reality shows is the next. For the Abs-Cbn is the Pinoy Big Brother Season 2 while on GMA is Star struck. Based on the people’s survey, it is again Pinoy Big Brother. 3 points is for the Abs-Cbn.
And lastly is the ever awaited Koreanovelas here in the Philippines. Foreign shows came to Philippines and are very popular nowadays. On Abs-Cbn is the most popular Princess Hours, it is about a poor young girl that became a crown princess because of the king and her grandpa were friends. Will she survive being a princess? And on the other side is Jumong. Originally set to be 60, MBC has decided to extend it to 80 episodes due to its popularity. It portrays the life of Jumong (later King Dongmyeongseong, founder of the Goguryeo Kingdom). Because few details are found in the historical records on Jumong, much artistic license is taken.
And the winner is Abs-Cbn. Based on the people’s survey, here are the results:
